Golf Courses
Being located in Rotonda West means an abundance of excellent local golf courses within a stones throw of the accommodation, and if that isn't enough there are 22 courses within 15 miles. Rotonda Golf and Country Club consists of 4 quality courses. These are The Hills, The Palms, The Links and Long Marsh. The Palms is the most challenging of the courses including six different water hazards, multi-tiered greens and two of Florida’s most demanding holes. The Hills is the most forgiving with wide fairways but still a lot of trouble for those who don’t manage to keep shots in play. The Club has been awarded a “Beginner Friendly Certification” from the National Golf Course Owners Association as well as the Charlotte Sun Herald’s Reader’s choice awarded fro being the best course in Charlotte County. Outside of the circle there are plenty of other courses including Riverwood Golf & Country Club, Bobcat Trail Golf Course and Heron Creek Golf Course to name but a few. With so many fantastic course within a short distance its a golfers paradise. With very reasonable rates, plenty of sunshine, no language barriers and friendly and welcoming staff a round or two of golf can ease its way into your vacation experience effortlessly.
